An autonomous decentralised organisation (DAO) is an organisation built according to rules encoded in a computer program. It is usually transparent, controlled by the members of the organisation, and not influenced by a central government. In Walk With Me, the artist's avatar becomes an autonomous organisation driven by stimuli and external factors.
The exhibition features a 4-channel video installation, showing an autonomous 3D avatar of the artist walking and running through open fields, climbing hills and observing the ocean. The avatar moves seekingly through the environment and responds to stimuli that direct him towards specific locations within this world.
