With Interactions 2024, we are once again inviting you over the summer to the outdoor and public interior spaces of the Bundeskunsthalle, where new works of art complement the existing ones: the Circular Appearing Rooms water pavilion by Jeppe Hein, which is presented every summer on the square, and the Bonn slide by Carsten Höller, which winds down the facade, rotating around its own axis.
The new works of art also invite you to play, reflect or linger. All works contain their own narrative that needs to be discovered alongside interaction, but also deal with various 'image languages' as a cross-border and universal form of communication.
This year, the large installation Bouncer by Gabriel Lester is added to the roof, which enables a collective but also an individual spatial experience by walking through a series of swinging doors as if in a stop-motion moment.
