Abstract Feed (Scroll Composition No. 1)

“Abstract Feed (Scroll Composition No. 1)”  deconstructs the addictive scroll mechanism of TikTok by replacing its content with pure abstract compositions. The piece maintains the familiar vertical scroll interface but populates it with an endless stream of generative abstract forms, colors, and movements. Each “post” in the feed represents a deliberate departure from narrative content, instead offering visual arrangements that hover between digital artifact and conscious design. The work comments on both the hypnotic nature of infinite scroll mechanics and the increasing abstraction of digital content consumption. By removing recognizable content while maintaining the platform’s interaction patterns, “Abstract Feed” reveals the underlying psychological architecture of social media engagement while transforming it into a contemplative experience.
